Boogie-Doodle. 3 min. 1940. Norman McLaren begins by drawing directly on to film.
Begone Dull Care. 4 min. excerpt. 1949. Same idea carried further, to Oscar Peterson piano.
Neighbors. 8 min. 1952, AA-win. Famous for innovation of live-action pixillation.
Mosaic. 6 min. 1965. The culmination of Lines-Vertical and Lines-Horizontal.
Pas de Deux. 14 min. 1967. Stop-motion ballet in b&w outline -- acclaimed masterpiece.
Synchromy. 8 min. 1971. Brilliantly colored summation of visualized sound -- an optical joyride.

Mindscape. 8 min. 1976. Jacques Drouin’s pinscreen animation enters the artist’s mind.
Log Driver’s Waltz. 3 min. 1979. John Weldon animates a rollicking song by Kate & Anna McGarrigle.
The Sweater. 11min. 1980. Sheldon Cohen on a boy’s Rocket Richard jersey. It’s Canadien, eh?
The Street. 16 min. 1976, AA-nom. Caroline Leaf’s ink-on-glass version of Mordicai Richler story.

Wat’s Pig. 11 min. 1996. “The Prince & the Pauper” re-told in claymation.

A Grand Day Out. 23 min. 1989, AA-nom. Nick Park’s student film is first Wallace & Gromit short.
The Wrong Trousers. 29 min. 1993, AA-win. Wallace taken in by criminal penguin, saved by Gromit.
A Close Shave. 30 min. 1995, AA-win. W & G solve sheep rustling scheme, save Wendolene.
